Meb’s Marathon Reflection

Today has been a little hectic and I haven’t had the time to put into my blog entry that I would like. Between getting ready for company this week and buying a car, we’ve had little down time. However, during the 4+ hours we spent at the car dealership, I was able to read Meb’s marathon reflection from the Olympics. It is a great read and makes me respect him even more. Perhaps my favorite part is when he shares that he was seriously considering dropping out of the race. He had signed up for the NYC marathon in the fall and was debating if it was worth the risk to finish. But his ultimate goal for the Olympics was to represent “our country the best way I can.” And he did just that with an amazing performance.

I know the marathon was almost a month ago, but I think Meb just posted his reflection this week. It’s a little longer than Ryan Hall’s DNF reflection, but definitely worth it. You can read it here on his website.

I hope every had a safe holiday!

Happy Trails and Happy Running,

Tracie

Check out my new ride… 🙂
